Sam Smith
Administrator NHASMITH SAM

Sam has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2003. He has been working in long term care and sub-acute rehabilitation facilities since he graduated from Lock Haven University in 1996.  He has a degree in Therapeutic Recreation.

Sam gains satisfaction by interacting with residents and staff, to ensure that each resident receives the highest quality of care, by staff that enjoy their work.

Sam lives in Warrington, PA with his wife and three sons.

 

Wendy Hildenbrandt 
Director of Nursing (DON)
HILDENBRANDT WENDY

Wendy has been a registered nurse since obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Cedar Crest College in 1989. She has spent her career in long term care working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Unit Manager, RN Supervisor, Staff Development Coordinator, CNA instructor, Human Resource Development Coordinator and DON in both personal care and skilled care settings. She holds certificates as a Certified Dementia Care Partner and a Certified Nursing Director in Long Term Care. She has prior experience as a support group facilitator through the Alzheimer Association and in certifying neighborhoods through the Alzheimer Foundation in Excellence in Care. She has been an active member of PADONA for over 10 years.

 

Wendy Smith

I have lived in the Lehigh Valley area my entire life. I have been a nurse since 1998 and worked as a certified nurse asst and technical partner prior to becoming a registered nurse. I was at my previous job for 16 years. I started as a treatment nurse then became a charge nurse, then unit manager then eventually the Director of Nursing. I am the proud mom of 2 boys ages 25 and 30. I am an avid Disney fan and like to travel to Disney at least once a year. I am very happy to be here at life Quest and look forward to being here for a long time

 

 

Patricia Solts
ABC/DEF Unit ManagerSOLT PATRICIA

Patricia has worked in long term care since 1991, initially as a Volunteer and then worked in a variety of departments until she became an RN. She graduated from Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1998 and furthered her education through Kutztown University where she obtained her BSN. Patricia also has a certificate in legal nurse consulting.

 

 

Carol Kester
Admissions Director

Carol Kester is from Bethlehem, Pa; she attended Lock Haven University and received her social work degree there. While working with various populations as a social worker, she began her career in long term care as a Director of Social Services at Manor Care in Easton, then focusing and specializing in dementia care on their Arcadia Unit- a dementia unit. Becoming passionate working with residents in long term care, she moved to Phoebe Home in Allentown as the Director of Social Services and working with a team to create specialized memory support neighborhoods. Enjoying working with families as well, it was a natural move to LifeQuest as the Admissions Director, having opportunities to help families place their loved one. Outside of work, she can be found in the gym working out with her husband, cycling and loves her cats and the beach.

 

Elise Adler
HR Administrator

Elise has been in the HR field since 2001. She moved from NJ to PA in 2009 and has been employed at LifeQuest since 2010 as the HR Administrative Assistant, HR Coordinator and most recently promoted to the HR Administrator. Prior to her time at LifeQuest she was the HR Representative at B. Braun Medical in NJ, a medical device manufacturer.

Elise is passionate about Resident care and quality customer service. She enjoys assisting Residents and families and loves to bring a smile to their faces. She strives to help employees have a meaningful and gratifying experience while employed at LifeQuest.

Elise is an avid animal lover and enjoys listening to a wide range of music, you can always count her to know all the words to any song!

Elise resides in Pottstown with her fiancé Ken and is the caretaker for her mother Rosalie. She also has 2 cats Meisha and Marley.

 

Lynne Douglass
Director of Social ServicesLynne Douglass

Lynne Douglass, our Director of Social Services, has been a social worker for more than 25 years. She has worked with the senior population at LifeQuest Nursing Center for the last 9 years.

Prior to her time at LifeQuest, Lynne held multiple leadership positions in the mental health system in West Virginia. She also has worked as a home care and hospice social worker in the Palm Springs, CA area.

 

Rick VittiRick Vitti
Activities Director

Rick Vitti has been leading the Activities Department since 2007.

Rick is certified through the National Certification Council for Activities Professionals. He has over 20 years of experience in his field and has worked in New York, Florida and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Schwartz

Jon H. Schwartz, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Schwartz has practiced medicine in the Quakertown area for 35 years and is a partner in Quakertown Internal Medicine Associates. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, and recently has been certified as a Medical Director in long-term care by the American Medical Director’s Association.
Dr. Schwartz’s interests include helping his patients and their families navigate through the complex and challenging medical issues that are associated with aging.

Dr. Schwartz is a graduate of Lafayette College, Hahnemann Medical College at Drexel University and completed his residency at the University of Miami.

 

Bill RobinsonBill Robinson, PTA, LMT
Rehab Manager, Select Medical at LifeQuest

Bill has over 13 years of experience as a Rehab Manager in both Long Term Care, and Rehabilitation and Transitional Care. Over the last 6 years, as Manager at LifeQuest, Bill has enhanced our rehabilitation program by focusing on providing excellent care and striving to return clients to their prior level of function at home and in the community.

Christine Stone, RN
Clinical Liaison

For the past 30 years, Christine Stone has focused her nursing career in geriatrics and gerontology. She has extensive experience in traditional long term care facilities and hospital-based nursing facilities, in addition to ten years as a consultant with a national senior care company.

She has worked as a Clinical Liaison for LifeQuest since 2005 and has worked to develop and maintain relationships with area hospital case managers, social workers and other senior care providers. Through this work she is also able to serve as an advocate to families and patients – helping them through decisions on short term care, long term care and end of life issues.

 

Sheri Ackerman
Clinical Liaison

Sheri has been working with seniors for the past 25 years as a social worker in long term care.  She graduated from York College of PA and has enjoyed working with the geriatric population ever since.  Sheri lives in Emmaus with her husband, 2 children and miniature dachshund, Milo. 

 In her free time, she enjoys attending her children’s various activities, gardening, reading on the beach and going to Disney.

Thane Gehret
Director of Plant ServicesThane Gehret

Thane has worked in the skilled care, assisted living and independent living phases for almost ten years . As an electrician by trade, he brings a strong background in mechanical ability and project management. Thane takes pride in delivering the best environment to all residents. Outside of work.

Thane enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with his family. He lives in Fleetwood with his wife and three sons.

 

 

Matt Linsenbigler
Director Environmental Services (EVS)

Matt has worked in the Healthcare field for over 15 years, working in Pharmacies, Hospitals, and Skilled Nursing facilities. He was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley however moved to San Francisco for 5 years where he wooed and eventually married my wife.

Matt traveled a lot for work and was able to see many amazing cities: Chicago, New Orleans, San Diego, Denver just to name a few. Traveling became tiresome and home was calling so he moved back to the Lehigh Valley and now live in Easton, PA with his wife Shannon and their pup, Jameson.

Matt likes to golf in his free time and always enjoys relaxing watching movies.
